Lauren Scherrer

Lauren graduated from California State University Sacramento in 2013 with her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science.  She became a certified personal trainer  through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2014 and started Lauren Ibarra Fitness Training in 2015.  She has trained clients in a small medical office in downtown Tracy for the past 8 years.  Starting in April of 2024, she brought LIFT to its own larger studio, also located in downtown Tracy. 


Lauren has an extensive 12 years of rehab experience where she has overseen treatment for high school, college, and professional athletes.  She has helped these athletes and others recover from sports-related injuries, such as ACL tears,  ankle sprains, rotator cuff strains, meniscus injuries, cervical and lumbar injuries, muscular  strains, and radiculopathy.  She has also overseen rehabilitation for pre and post-surgical patients, spinal injuries, neurological disorders, and worker’s comp injuries.  Lauren is CPR/AED Certified by the American Red Cross.

The Program

Whether new to exercise or a well conditioned athlete looking to maximize performance and ability, Lauren Ibarra Fitness Training is built to create success.  Training emphasizes on improving muscular imbalances, gaining strength and endurance, proprioception and stabilization, cardiovascular conditioning, and power.


Training sessions are held in small groups of up to 10 individuals all performing the same routine at different intensities, varying based on a person's abilities.  We integrate strength training and  conditioning exercises into 35 minute full-body training sessions.  We blend bodyweight exercises with TRX Suspension Straps, incorporating kettlebells, dumbbells, battle ropes, slam balls, medicine balls, BOSU balls, sandbags, Airdyne bikes, and Concept 2 Rowers.
